Mantova

A lot of artists spoke about Mantova in their letters, From Baudelaire to Dickens, from Alfredo Panzini to Guido Piovene, and all of them talked about it with a melancholic and sweet note.

Villafranca di Verona

It’s the second center in the province of Verona. The castle at the end of Vittorio Emanuele course endured the fires by Ezzelino da Romano, the domain of Scaligeri – which built the wide parade ground-, the Galeazzo Gonzaga siege and, in the 1483, Ludovico il Moro’s troops sack.

Peschiera del Garda

It’s town with ancient origins, situated on the slopes of the moraine hills where the Mincio flows from the Lake towards the plain of Mantova.

Valeggio sul Mincio

The Valeggio territory extends along the Mincio, on the beautiful hills that frame Lake Garda. Places of interests are the Scaliger castle, the Guarienti palace and the church of San Pietro.

Castellaro Lagusello

The borough is located on a hill in front of a small heart-shaped lake. All around rise the moraine hills, a few kilometers from the shores of the Garda lake.

Custoza

Sommacampagna’ suburb is a small country rich of Risorgimento memories. Here were fought two battles, and we find testimony of that in the monuments: the Tamburino Sardo farmhouse, the grenadiers Brigata Sardegna monument and the monument to Cavalchina.

Bardolino

Located on the eastern shore of Lake Garda, Bardolino borders the following municipalities: Affi, Cavaion Veronese, Costermano, Garda, Lazise, Manerba del Garda, Moniga del Garda, Padenghe sul Garda, and Pastrengo. The economy is mostly based on tourism and production of wine (including the Bardolino DOC).
